This year, ViewPoint will be selected by a distinguished three panel jury composed of:
Sonia Hidalgo — A full time artist living and working in Northeast Los Angeles, she received her formal education from the Rhode Island School of Design with an emphasis in printmaking and was an artist in residence at Avenue 50 Studio in Northeast Los Angeles.
Tamera Lenz Muente — Assistant Curator at the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio, she regularly curates exhibitions and authors articles on the visual arts. Muente holds an MA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati and a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Steven Thomas - Adding diversity to our jury, Steven Thomas is an internationally published photographer with Cosmopolitan and has been published in other various media. He has worked with celebrities and has traveled the world for his limited edition fine art photography.

We are privileged to have Cesar Santos as our final awards judge. His art education is worldly and his work has been seen around the globe, from the Annigoni Museum in Italy and the Beijing Museum in China to Chelsea NY and the National Gallery in Costa Rica. He attended the Angel Academy of Art in Florence studying under Michael John Angel, a student of artist Pietro Annigoni. Santos’ work reflects both classical and modern interpretations juxtaposed within one painting. His influences range from the Renaissance to the masters of the nineteenth century to contemporary art. With superb technique, he infuses a harmony between the natural and the conceptual to create works that are provocative and dramatic.
Santos has received numerous accolades, including first place in a Metropolitan Museum of Art competition, and he was recently presented with the Miami Dade College Hall of Fame Award in Visual Arts.

Art Design Consultants (ADC) is a multifaceted company located in a breathtaking 10,000 sq ft gallery on the edge of downtown Cincinnati. With over twenty years of experience advising, consulting and transforming spaces with art, they serve a large client base providing solutions for both corporate and residential environments.

Open to all artists 18 years of age and older.
Note: Only totally original work conceived and executed by the entrant after January 1, 2014 will be accepted.
Digital Entries Only (not created digitally): Any digital manipulation must be limited to making the digital file look more like the original art, otherwise risk disqualification.
Excluded Media includes photography, crafts, fiber, computer- generated art, painting on photos, and jewelry. Paintings created in workshops or classes are not acceptable. Paintings cannot be copies of other paintings.
Framed Dimensions are crucial and shall not exceed a size of 48” wide. Each piece must be suitably framed and ready for hanging, using strong screw eyes or mirror hangers and wire. Gallery wrapped canvas finished and/or painted on all sides is acceptable.
Free Standing Sculpture must not exceed 36” x 36” x 60” and must be stable or attached to a stable base.
Wall Sculpture must adhere to the same dimensions and framing as paintings and is limited to a depth of 15”.
Liability and Insurance: Reasonable precautions will be taken to safeguard all entries. However, the Cincinnati Art Club will not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to CDs and/or any artwork submitted. Artists are strongly encouraged to insure artwork in transit and during the exhibition.
Submission online or on CD and/or accepted artwork and/or the signature of the artist constitutes acceptance of all conditions and terms stated in this prospectus. Failure to comply with terms and conditions will result in disqualification of entry.
Mailing of Entry Form: Include your CD, properly marked and your Entry Fee check payable to the Cincinnati Art Club and mail to: ATTN ViewPoint 48, Cincinnati Art Club, 1021 Parkside Place, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Please note, CDs will NOT be returned.
Participants: Please note, top award winners from 2014 or 2015 (1st, 2nd or 3rd Place or Gallery Representation) are ineligible to win one of these awards in 2016. Entrants are eligible for one award only.
Presentation of Artwork: Artwork requiring glazing should use plexiglas or other plastic glazing. Gallery wrapped canvas finished and/or painted on all sides is acceptable. Shipped Artwork using standard glass takes the risk of being broken and is not advisable. Glass is acceptable for hand delivered work; however, plastic glazing is preferred on all artwork.
Sales and Commissions: All artwork must be for sale. A 40% commission is payable to Art Design Consultants from each sale. “Price On Request” is not acceptable.
Shipping: Detailed shipping instructions will be mailed to all artists whose work is selected for ViewPoint 48. Shipped work will be returned following the show closing.
Submit one CD with up to 4 images (properly cropped) in JPG format, no larger than 5 MB each when open. Title digital files with your last name, first name, letter A, B, C or D (if more than one), title, medium, size, and price per example shown:
